THE WISH.

The inspiration for this piece were the words from a poem by Evangeline Patterson.

The piece explores being both a mother and a daughter.

The art is very complex in its structure, with elements of it individually made in free machine embroidery then linked together, all suspended from a piece of wood.

Included in the work are found objects such as a feather, bone, and amber.
